About the role
We are looking for a product-minded Full-Stack Engineer to build the systems behind BerryBell, from polished browser experiences to Node.js services and AWS infrastructure. You will work across the stack, own meaningful product areas and ship improvements directly to customers.
This role suits someone who enjoys moving between product thinking and implementation: clarifying the problem, choosing a simple architecture, writing production-quality code and staying involved after deployment.
What you’ll do
- ✓Design, build and ship end-to-end product features across our web applications, APIs and cloud services.
- ✓Develop reliable TypeScript and Node.js services with clear interfaces, strong validation and useful observability.
- ✓Build responsive, accessible frontend experiences and connect them cleanly to backend systems.
- ✓Design data models and APIs that remain understandable as the product and customer base grow.
- ✓Own AWS infrastructure and delivery workflows, including security, monitoring, performance and cost awareness.
- ✓Review code, improve engineering standards and help turn ambiguous product problems into maintainable solutions.
- ✓Diagnose production issues and follow fixes through testing, release and verification.
What success looks like
You ship useful features that customers can rely on, make sound technical decisions without unnecessary complexity, and leave each part of the system easier for the next engineer to understand. You communicate trade-offs early and take responsibility for outcomes, not only completed tickets.
What we’re looking for
- Strong production experience with TypeScript, Node.js and modern web application development.
- Experience building frontend applications with React or a comparable component-based framework.
- Practical AWS experience across services such as Lambda, ECS or Fargate, API Gateway, RDS, S3, CloudFront, IAM and CloudWatch.
- Confidence designing REST APIs, asynchronous workflows and integrations with third-party services.
- Solid SQL and relational database skills, ideally with PostgreSQL.
- A working understanding of authentication, authorisation, application security and safe handling of secrets.
- Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, logging, metrics and production troubleshooting.
- Clear written communication and the judgement to balance speed, quality and simplicity in a small team.
Nice to have
- Experience building AI-assisted products, agent workflows or integrations with large language models.
- Infrastructure-as-code experience with AWS CDK, Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architecture, usage-based billing or developer tooling.
- Familiarity with edge platforms, event-driven systems and managed PostgreSQL services.
How to apply
Send us your CV or LinkedIn profile, a short note about why this role interests you, and links to work that best shows how you build. We value clear thinking and real outcomes over polished applications.
